About Lab Grown Ruby

 Lab-Grown Ruby (also known as Laboratory Synthetic Ruby) is a gemstone manufactured in an artificially controlled environment that is chemically and physically almost identical to natural ruby, but at a lower price and without the ethical issues of mining.

There are currently 2 main methods of producing cultivated rubies

(1) Flame melting method (Verneuil Process)

Characteristics:  

- The most economical, the largest output, suitable for commercial-grade rubies.  

- Raw material: high purity Aluminum Oxide (Al₂O₃) + a small amount of Chromium (Cr, chromogenic element).  

- PROCESS: The powder is melted in a hydroxide flame and cooled and crystallized to form ruby crystals.  

(2) Flux-Grown or Hydrothermal method  

 Characteristics:  

- Higher quality, closer to natural ruby, suitable for high-end market.  

- Simulates the high temperature and pressure environment of the earth's crust, slow growth rate and higher cost.  

- Internal inclusions are more natural and can even mimic the characteristics of natural rubies.  

Jewelry Maintenance

Such as perfume, detergents, various sprays, chemicals

2. Avoide Water : 

Jewelry should be kept dry as soon as possible after daily contact with water,

3. Avoide Friction:

5. Clean With Soft Cloth

6. Take off when sleep

7. Storage in box
